The Imperial Park district owes its name to the Imperial Hotel which was built there in 1902 for the Russian community that spent its winters on the French Riviera.
The Imperial Park district is bordered by the Gambetta Boulevard at east, the Mantega hill at north, Saint Philippe Hill at west, and the Tzarewitch Boulevard at south. Originally, very large and rich private properties covered the surroundings. In 1883, the international exhibition of Nice took place on the Piol area.
In the Imperial Park district, you can still find many villas, beautiful Belle Epoque buildings, modern residences, but also the Imperial Park High School, the famous Nice Lawn Tennis Club, the Piol swimming pool, the private Clinic of Parc Imperial, the russian cathedral (inaugurated in 1912) ...
Property prices in the Imperial Park district are on the average of Nice’s prices. The sector is liked by local customers who want to live close to the city center and investors from other french regions or countries.
